TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposit

A deposit of £50 per person is required to secure a booking. In the event that your safari cannot not go ahead as planned, an alternative date (usually the previous or following day) will be offered in replacement. If this is not convenient for you, then your deposit will be refunded in full. The balance will be taken on the morning of your trip, prior to safari departure.

Cancellations

Our cancellation policy is 21 days in advance. A full refund will be issued providing you inform us at least 3 weeks prior to your safari departure date.

Safety

Safety is our number one priority, and your guide will outline some important and simple to follow rules. These will also cover conservation and protection of the environment and wildlife. We take these very seriously and anyone ignoring these will forfeit their right to continue on the trip.

Medical

Your guide is trained in first aid and will carry basic medical necessities. Should you have any underlying medical conditions or be taking medication, it is important that you inform us when making your booking. At times we will be in remote places where medical attention may be many hours away.

Equipment

Anyone turning up without suitable footwear or clothing will be prevented from starting the trip and no refund of deposit will be offered. There is an outdoor clothing shop in Portree if you need any last minute items, but please ensure footwear is well worn in.

Fitness

You will need to be of a good level of fitness, and able to walk up steep sustained inclines. There will be plenty of time to go at a comfortable pace and enjoy the experience, so you don’t have to be an Olympic athlete. You just need to understand that you will be walking around 10 miles over varied terrain and inclines.
